Due to covid, this year I am a one person gift production shop! These piles of fabric are destined to become beautiful book pockets and ice cream cozies.

So I made a booboo and didn’t take enough photos for my finger escape tutorial. So, I’m having to make a whole new set of paws to finish the tutorial off. Look out for these paws! I’m planning to hold a raffle over on twitter for these in the new year

So I did end up adjusting the pattern a tad to fix some fur direction issues and account for the back hair tuft now being made from kanekalon rather than long fur.

Finished another set of pre-made paws from the new super slim sockpaw pattern. I’m very pleased with this pattern. This pair has a foam innersole and firm stuffing around the toes and heel for comfort. These will be released into my etsy shop in the next few days.

Made up the fur cover for Miwak’s feetpaws. Still have to shave down the toes and set the claws before gluing down to the base.
-
Finished prototype of the new slim feetpaws pattern. I have no use for these so I’ll be putting the, up in my Etsy shop.

Appliqué beanz have never really appealed to me as nowhere in nature do you see animals walking around with little seam lines on their feet pads. So I choose to handsew beans onto feetpaw bottoms as I like the nice, clean, realistic edge. It’s a bit more work but worth it!

I’m really digging how nice my new pattern is turning out. Next step is handsewing the paw pads and sorting out the lining.

Testing out my new slim feetpaw pattern. These are all the pieces for a set of lemon & navy paws. I have no need for these so they will be sold upon completion.
