  • Last week I visited my partners workplace for lunch, and we laser cut this wristlet bead board in the maker space beforehand. I’m super loving how much it’s helping me choose colourways for my beading. Also, it’s the most expensive beadboard ever as we accidentally used delrin (thought it was regular acrylic).

  • All the spots have been sewn in & the finger tops attached. Next step is to ready all the minky parts for install.

  • Paws for the dinodog comm. There are 88 total pieces for these paws with lots of spot inserting to look forward to.

  • It’s been almost 2 decades since I’ve done paper tole, but I’m really pleased with how this is coming along. You can really see the difference between a flat print and the shaped piece layering.

  • ‘Spirit of the North’ cosplay mask progress & movement test. I chose to invert the screw setup on the forehead rest/head harness to allow the hardware to be swapped out if they ever break. This is going to be put aside now until I clear some things in my queue.

  • Made up a 1:1 replica of the belt end of Miwak’s bonetail for my bodysuit maker. I am now considering adding 2 more segments but carving it ragged to look like an injury – but that’s a 2023 project.

  • Started on the background, blocked in the distant geese, and got going on the other half (which is mostly environment).

  • Non-zero progress, but golly this is fiddly.

  • Update on the Spirit of the North fox partial. Doesn’t look like much but a lot has changed! The harness & chin rest have been installed, location holes for the forehead rest drilled, springs installed, eye recesses drilled out, vision ports smoothed, upper lip installed, and ears built.   • Doing some patterning for a commission. I love doing unusual/detailed paws and floor dragger tails ❤️
