Thought I’d show how I get the custard drip effect on the christmas pudding candles. It takes a lot of patience to get a nice thick coat.

More work on the frog paper tole. I’m gonna try to pull out some extra pieces not in the pattern to build out the forelimbs better than the pattern suggests.

Started up another paper tole decoupage. This one already has lots of foamcore supports under the large base layer pieces.

Ok, so there is something really funky going on with the neck and shoulders. But my brain is fried because it’s the end of the year so I’m finding it hard to work out what to edit. I’m going to set this aside to figure out in the new year school holiday period, possibly also…

Finishing off the parasaur tail. I wasn’t too sure about the plum colour, but with everything sewn up I think it works really well with all the other tail colours.

Kettle has been hard at work preparing for Christmas. He still has to add the glaze to the puddings & tidy the pinecones.

Finally got around to finalising my draft for my #omfd yellow robe. These are the pieces for a test sew. I’m going to be using expensive fabrics to make my #ofmd styled morning gowns so I want to make sure the pattern works first!

Tail sheath is now all sewn up and installed. Where the claw is jammed in is the little belt tunnel that travels through the foam core. Next step is doing the gore cap and belt tunnel fabric tube.

Working on the parasaur tail. The little hole that’s being left in the charcoal is for the belt tube that goes through the foam core. Also, this is my simplest tail ever (only 10 fur pieces)!
