After being neglected due to work, I’m determined to finish this gryphon off. Completed the antiquing and drybrushing aspect of the shading & feather details. Eyes are sitting in there so I could get a feel of how it’s coming along.

Glued up the kemono style headbase for my pokesona fusion. Gonna have to do a lot more base work, including building & attaching a helmet head back.

Almost finished the paws then the parasaur set is done! The finger nails have piece of thin laser cut acrylic glued into an internal pocket to stiffen the base of the nail. Just have to sew on the cuffs and a tidy up clip now.

A fews hours work on the parasaur paws. I must say that being able to do large parts of these on the sewing machine due to the minky really sped up the construction.

Parasaur paws have been cut out. I’m trying something new with minky fingers to achieve the the hadrosaur mitten foot look.

Kettle has decided he wants to do more spinning. I’ve decided the banksia pod spindles max capacity is 100g. Once I get to the last 2-3 lengths of the roving ball the spindle starts behaving like an unwieldy pregnant cow and gets challenging to handle.

Phew, the base colours are done! When you’re painting darks next to a light painted area, never scrimp on your masking as it’ll save you a world of hurt.
