  • This is getting unwieldy & difficult to photograph progress. But I’ve only got 10 rows left of colourwork design left before the top ribbing section so I’m super excited to finish it.

  • Spinning some merino on my new Mingo&Asho glasspin. I taught myself to spin supported earlier this year. I found fleegle style spinning to be the most comfortable on my support spindles as its a kind of unsupported style which accommodates short or long draw. Do you like watching my spinning videos? Should I do more…

  • Marathon session with lots of accidental stabbing getting all the fingers aligned & sewn. No kidding, this is a finnicky pattern!

  • I got super annoyed at how I kept putting this project off, so I finally just cleared time to sit & start stitching.

  • Aaaaaand I’m at it again. I must admit that really I’m just trying to use up a stash of silicone beads I have lying around…problem is I run out of colours that go together which prompts more bead purchases…

  • Hubert would like to present a basket of yarn cakes ready for plying & the latest singles of my dyed red panda spin.

  • Decided to try to streamline these comms, so I spent a morning completing all the basic seams on the second paw set. Does anyone else think the finger tubes resemble purple cannelloni?

  • More progress on the fossil cowl. It took me a week of knitting every day before dinner to add another inch to the design. Double knitting is slow yet worth it!

  • WIPs of the process of foam clay sculpting Miwaks skull hat, this time in mini! Still have to smooth some parts, but have to wait for my small sized dremal mandrel to arrive. Doll by @homemadehorrors

  • This is how I prepare hand dyed fibre for spinning. It’s so satisfying floofing out the fibre & feeling it go from coarse to a literal cloud.
