Wow, what a difference a trim makes! Left before trimming. Right after trimming.

Been busy doing up a basic liner and setting claws. I got lucky & could use one size liner for both paw sizes. Meanwhile, I’m impressed with the pattern which creates a firm ‘pressure fit’ around the claws, so I chose to glue instead of my usual drill’n’sew.

On the homeward stretch now! Although the outer motif is making me cross-eyed as I stitch it 😵

I did an actual one day build! We needed something to put all my plushies in to get them off surfaces so I made up this toy hanger. Still have to pressure fit some beads on the end of the dowels before it gets hung.

Sewings pads on 3 paws represents 2 full days of work. But these are looking awesome now! I recently bought some beautiful handcarders and I spent a few relaxing hours teaching myself how to card. It’s surprisingly easy & I carded up some spare fibre; white cormo, yak, & grey polwarth.

I’ve been wanting to try out a spindolyn since I first saw them. It’s a very interesting little tool but not something that I would use regularly because of my preferred spinning style. It is however wonderful to spin up neppy wools and when you want a ridiculous amount of loft in your yarn!

Nyoomed these paw pads through the sewing machine. After I sew these in, I’m forced to wait for the package of accompanying claws to arrive to complete these sets.
