  • Started on another windstones pyo, this time a gryphon channeling one of my favourite native birds.

  • Spent all of a morning shading all the scales. Also added in the metallic black details.

  • Have been working on this metallic bee colourway. I’m considering doing this scheme again on the same sculpt with the airbrush too to see the difference between painting techniques.

  • ‘Sundance’ kirin. A Windstone Editions PYO sculpt completely handpainted in opaque & colour shift acrylics with antiquing and wash shadowing in 4 different colours.
