Throwback to when I made my wedding bouquets. I still have mine in a decorative vase brightening up my bathroom. My grandmother was given my matron-of-honours bouquet whilst my matron-of-honour got a compilation bouquet made from all the table decoration mini bouquets.

Last thing to be made before the wedding! My partners’ pocket square and feather boutounairre. The boutounairre has 2 different kinds of duck and pheasant feathers, plus a little one of unknown origins at the front to match my feather earwing (the lady who made my jewellery kindly sent me some spare feathers for this…

Finished up the decorations for my wedding (with some help from my partner and companion bird). I have 11 of these mini vases, made up from all the leftover feathers and flowers/foliage from when I made my bouquets.

Finished all the bunting! In total there is around 30ish metres of bunting (enough to span 6m between two trees twice and to edge 3 tables). Sewing all this used up a bit over 1300 metres of thread! But my, it does look pretty festive!

Cut out the pieces for my fiancés wedding waistcoat. We’ve got some cheeky goose-print satin lining and the wool outer has nice flecks of silver through it.

I’ve been trying to keep COVID off this page, but its got to the point that people are telling me to cancel my wedding which is 7 months in the future because of it. I know that right now everything is a bit horrible and I really feel for those who have had to cancel…
