  • Some progress shots of the second pair of pants. Steps shown are basic construction, mock flat fell seaming, positioning the zipper, and attaching the waistband.

  • Finished purse bags. Two of these are mine and the rest are gifts. Some have contrasting internal pockets and some have additional bead decoration hanging from the top.

  • 48 pieces of a faux mohair/real mohair truffle themed personal teddy bear. This all took about 5 solid hours to mark, cut, and prep.

  • Made up the cute purse kit I got from the craft fair recently. It’s super simple, but my golly the instructions are bad in some places (ie close the turn out hole before installing the magnet clip, just no!). But, I really enjoyed it so will make up some more bags a gifts.

  • I made up this adorable small flag to specifically display my Foxfeather kickstarter pins. Don’t they look amazing!

  • Spooky blackstitch completed! Only took a few evenings as it’s quite small. Done using white DMC on black 16ct aida in two thread thicknesses (single and double threads).

  • Working on a new & spoopy blackwork pattern.

  • Some progress on the blackwork. This is looking so good and I only have a few squares left to do.

  • I’ve discovered a simpler way to join binding. Fold the outside end in at an angle, the underneath piece you cut straight and just tuck the edge that could be seen under. When the binding is all finished, it looks just like a proper bias join edge.

  • I’ve finally gotten around to making up my turntable cover. Got to use the quilters pad and mini iron I got earlier this year for my birthday, they’re really neat!
