I’m on a roll, currently doing up the companion print for the tree frog. This one is slightly more annoying as there’s lots of tucking instead of straight overlay.

Completed tree frog paper tole. Time taken was 4 sittings of about 3-4 hours each.

More work on the frog paper tole. I’m gonna try to pull out some extra pieces not in the pattern to build out the forelimbs better than the pattern suggests.

Finally got around to finalising my draft for my #omfd yellow robe. These are the pieces for a test sew. I’m going to be using expensive fabrics to make my #ofmd styled morning gowns so I want to make sure the pattern works first!

Finally made up a proper storage bag for my cintiq24. I couldn’t resist making a pun out of fabric choices.

Completed all the remaining reeds and got most of the blue colour for the snow blocked in before I ran out of thread. I’m going to have to visit the store to get some equivalent DMC colour thread to finish that section off. Rather annoyed that this is the 5th colour in this kit that…

I made up a quilted pod hanging storage bag. The original pattern was quite small so this has been enlarged to about 165%. Perfect for storing all your screamy monsters in 😂

Completed lighthouse paper tole. There is lots of wiring and extra supports to achieve the shapes and layering without excessive silicone use. The lighthouse has plastic behind the lens windows & the railing is constructed from animal whisker fibres. I wasn’t sure how well a photo would illustrate the nature of a paper tole work,…

Started on the background, blocked in the distant geese, and got going on the other half (which is mostly environment).

The snowy ground is now completed. This took waaay longer than I anticipated, mainly because every time I changed colour I found a minor error in the previous colour that needed correcting.
