  • Complete cornflower blackwork. This represents approximately 50ish hours of work.

  • Stitching up a quick little project – a tiny chickadee gardener bird!

  • I got super annoyed at how I kept putting this project off, so I finally just cleared time to sit & start stitching.

  • I always misjudge how long detailing actually takes, my brain thinks it doesn’t take long because it’s just lines but in reality it can take days. This represents about 3 days of work.

  • Finished all the main colour & it’s ready for the long-stitch details!

  • Lots of progress on this. Only a few more birds and the roof left before detailing.

  • This is such a joy to stitch! I love the variety of songbirds that live throughout America.

  • Started up another dimensions kit from my stash. I’m quite enjoying this one as I can finish a bird or 2 in a session which gives an immediate sense of accomplishment.

  • Completed cross stitch. This Dimensions Gold Collection kit is called ‘Winter Retreat’.

  • Finished the clouds on the right side, only the left side left to go before detail stitching.
