The completed toy hanger, now the fancy home for all my miscellaneous squishies!

I did an actual one day build! We needed something to put all my plushies in to get them off surfaces so I made up this toy hanger. Still have to pressure fit some beads on the end of the dowels before it gets hung.

Meet Tachyon (Tachy for short) the juvenile/subadult Dakotaraptor. She comes in at just over 2m snoot to tail tip and is about 3kg. She’s mega cuddly and loves pettings.

After a dramatic fail with the original foot pattern I needed a new approach. #Kaigonathus suggested I carve a foam foot and pull a pattern from that. I’d done this for the pikachu partial fursuit paws so I was all ‘duh!’. Anyway, here is a carved foot covered in masking tape. Took me all morning…

Finished up the raptors arms and attached to the body. This is already heavy and it doesn’t even have feet, hands or stuffing yet!

I thought stitching the tail would be quick and easy…ooooh no! There was much confusion as to why one half didn’t curve properly. I blame my piece numbering…

More work on the dakotaraptor plush. Got the whole snoot, body and legs out. Fluff is still everywhere! 🦖
