Progress on the collab tail. This is designed to sit a little bit proud instead of letting gravity pull it straight down. I’m wondering whether to do a simple appliqué back or just a plain back…?

I’m doing a collab with @urboros for a premade that will appear at one of the major USA convenetions later this year. I’m doing a tail, stretch gloves, and armsleeves – these are all the parts for the tail. Urboros is doing the head, so go check out their progress over on their socials!

Finally got an opportunity to do up a pair of feetpaws using the foxfire fantasy legacy pattern. Total number of pieces = 38, took all day to cut & shave.

An entirely new bind off had to be developed for double knit twisted rib. I am so very grateful to a particular member of my fibre community would spent ages figuring out this bind off for me. It’s kinda evil (but not as evil as a previous iteration) and achieves the same stretchyness & look…

Spent most of a morning cutting out all these many pieces for the bee inspired tail. This giant puff nub goes with the paws I was making earlier.

Got all the pads sewn in, lined, & stuffed. I’ve stuffed all the claws but I really want to just attached the ones on the middle fingers to be super reminiscent of bee claws…but I know doing that means it won’t sell well 😔
