  • Completed commission for a returning client. The furs were carefully matched to the handpaws I made for the client last year. The tail features my signature gorecap with hidden belt loop. Paws have a comfy foam inner sole.

  • Ok, so there is something really funky going on with the neck and shoulders. But my brain is fried because it’s the end of the year so I’m finding it hard to work out what to edit. I’m going to set this aside to figure out in the new year school holiday period, possibly also…

  • Finishing off the parasaur tail. I wasn’t too sure about the plum colour, but with everything sewn up I think it works really well with all the other tail colours.

  • The only photos I took of the production process for these. The purple fur was so permeated by febreze scent I just focused on sewing fast & accurately so I wouldn’t have weeks of exposure, as would be usual, as usual washing/natural deodoriser tricks didn’t work. The products have been sun aired for several days…

  • Tail sheath is now all sewn up and installed. Where the claw is jammed in is the little belt tunnel that travels through the foam core. Next step is doing the gore cap and belt tunnel fabric tube.

  • Working on the parasaur tail. The little hole that’s being left in the charcoal is for the belt tube that goes through the foam core. Also, this is my simplest tail ever (only 10 fur pieces)!

  • Finally made up a proper storage bag for my cintiq24. I couldn’t resist making a pun out of fabric choices.

  • Last commission for the year for a returning client. 56 pieces for a tail and indoor feetpaw set to match a set of handpaws I made last year. Also, the purple fur arrived with a nigh unremoveable scent permeated into the fibres, which played hell with my sensory sensitivities & asthma. So there’s not going…

  • Finally got around to trimming my personal bears face. I recently got a curved scissor set which was the perfect tool for this.
