  • Completed cross stitch lighthouse. This came out so pretty, can’t wait to get it framed.

  • Almost finished, just have to do all the detail work. Final backstitching and details are my favourite part of an embroidery because it pulls a whole picture together.

  • WIP of the lighthouse cross stitch. I haven’t got much to do now & most of the last quadrant is half stitches which go pretty quickly.

  • Stitched up this cute sashiko pouch kit. Vaguely annoying that the kit instructions didn’t actually tell you how to cut/assemble the pouch, but I figured it out. I’m going to use it to keep some fibre tools in.

  • I was having too much fun and kept forgetting to take a wip photo. Anyway, this is basically half done now…?

  • Had a hankering for embroidery so I started up this sweet little lighthouse from my stash.

  • And the collab gloves are done! I’d forgotten how finneky these stretch gloves are to construct but the effort is definately worth it. And yes, these do have conductive thread in 3 of the fingers so you can use your phone.

  • Last part of the collab with @urboros is coming along nicely. The stretch gloves are completed and the thumb/index/middle feature conductive thread so you can still use your phone whilst wearing. The claws were sanded & their sew holes were drilled, making them now ready for paint.

  • Feather fan of the collab tail is completed and ready to be sewn into the main tail section. I chose to appliqué the feather lines to make them stand out more and give a bit more strength for the internal wire that’ll keep the fan nice & stiff.

  • Completely forgot to take photos of the assembly process. You’ll just have to believe me that it had to all be handsewing & was obnoxious. The last step is to give these paws a haircut – I love seeing the difference a trim makes!
