Went to the Sydney Craft ‘n’ Quilt Fair this weekend. First photo are some new stitching projects I picked up. The rest are some really neat quilts that really stood out for me from all the competition quilts.
-
Finished up the raptors arms and attached to the body. This is already heavy and it doesn’t even have feet, hands or stuffing yet!
-
Finished my sashiko panel of panels. Not entirely sure what I’ll use them for yet though…
-
I thought stitching the tail would be quick and easy…ooooh no! There was much confusion as to why one half didn’t curve properly. I blame my piece numbering…
-
Finally finished the animal sampler. I’m really chuffed at how it turned out, can’t wait to get it framed and up on my wall! Total time approximately 215 hours.
-
Started working on the dakotaraptor plush. There is literally fuzz everywhere!
-
Finally got this framed as a christmas present. It looks sooo good now in its walnut border!
-
Sneaky peek of the animal sampler I’m stitching up presently. First half of the alphabet almost done!
-
Finished my new wall hanging. So excited to have this done before my move, cause now I can find the perfect wallspace for it!
-
Completed crochet whale. Attaching all the pieces together was far more fiddly that I anticipated, but I was worth it. A cuddly smooth top with a textured ribbed underbelly makes for tactile heaven!
