  • A little update on the cross stitch progress. Officially halfway finished!

  • School term is making me stressed and tired. So I decided to take a break from the major ‘thinking’ fursuit project to do some stitching. So here’s a sashiko harvest ribbon design. I’m thinking of making it into a mini wall hanging at a later date.

  • School is wearing me down so I don’t have enough energy to focus on my major project. So I’ve started a new cross stitch so I have something relatively mindless to do until school holidays roll around again.

  • Some more photos of the quilts from the craft fair (because tumblr wouldn’t let me upload all photos in one hit!)

  • Went to the Sydney Craft ‘n’ Quilt Fair this weekend. First photo are some new stitching projects I picked up. The rest are some really neat quilts that really stood out for me from all the competition quilts.

  • Finished up the raptors arms and attached to the body. This is already heavy and it doesn’t even have feet, hands or stuffing yet!

  • Finished my sashiko panel of panels. Not entirely sure what I’ll use them for yet though…

  • Did up the Dakotaraptor’s feathers. Getting everything to line up well for the detail stitching to work was a nightmare, but I’m happy everything worked out with minimal wiggles! 😅

  • I thought stitching the tail would be quick and easy…ooooh no! There was much confusion as to why one half didn’t curve properly. I blame my piece numbering…

  • Finally finished the animal sampler. I’m really chuffed at how it turned out, can’t wait to get it framed and up on my wall! Total time approximately 215 hours.
