Due to covid, this year I am a one person gift production shop! These piles of fabric are destined to become beautiful book pockets and ice cream cozies.
-
Paw parts and a tail gore piece all ready for install on their respective pieces. Doing all this took a goodly few hours and several mis-spooled bobbins
-
Stitching up another orange. This is destined for my kitchen and will have a blood orange coloured counterpart eventually too.
-
Whelp, the original gore cap was too large and failed in holding the tails weight up. So I’m redesigning with a single reinforced belt ‘tube’ and I inserted a 3” foam block at the tail base for stability. So far, it looks like it’ll work well.

I decided to make something silly. I’m in for a stack of hand sewing on this project!
-
I’m at it again with the flat seaming. Also added the collar. Almost done now!
-
Decided to make myself a bee themed crafting apron using a different pattern. This one won’t have a zippered pocket, but the pockets will be deeper and the finishing will be much cleaner I think.
-
This is a much better pattern! Look at that range of movement, so many wiggles. A few minor tweaks still, but none that will stop me ordering fur now!
-
Making up a craft apron with lots of handy pockets for my mum from my scrap stash.

Constructing a summer pinafore. It’s delightfully simple, although having to ease 4 seperate collars was irritating.
