  • One delicious donut shirt. My partner now has all the donuts he desires 🤣

  • I’m at it again with the flat seaming. Also added the collar. Almost done now!

  • Completed summer pinafore. The buttons are non-functional, but I did put in manual machine sewn button holes for the oversized buttons if needed at a later stage.

  • Constructing a summer pinafore. It’s delightfully simple, although having to ease 4 seperate collars was irritating.

  • Had to edit the armholes as well to fit me properly without having weird shoulder overhang. Once this trimming was complete, I finished with bias cut from the same fabric. I also marked out my button holes and button placement.

  • PSA for all sewists. Collar first, then facing. If patterns say otherwise, they are telling you to do it the hard way!

  • I’m beginning to get cocky now. Decided to experiment with the shirt pattern so it has an inside yoke. Looks like it’s working so far.

  • Started work on my dinosaur bones shirt. The dark colours don’t do my stitching justice in photos! Attached the pocket, shoulders & front facing all with layered flat seams, and prepared the collar for attachment. Plus, I’m never using iron-on interfacing again!

  • I started work on the leggings using the same pattern as before by using the french seam method this time around.

  • I’m making up a prickly shirt for my fiancé. I am very pleased with how the pocket and enclosed seams all turned out. I am displeased by the collar as I had to basically make it up as I went since the pattern was poorly explained and I swear missing steps. There is visible stitching…
