  • Doing some patterning for a commission. I love doing unusual/detailed paws and floor dragger tails ❤️

  • Since the discourse about fursuits being too expensive is going around again, here’s a pattern for a fursuit head. That’s 28 pieces just for half a head! The final head will be 58 outer fur pieces total & all that all get preshaven & I hand sew. The mouth, lining, and internal battery pockets will…

  • The parasaur premade is all patterned! MwahHaHa! Just waiting for the furs to arrive now.

  • There is truely no such thing as a ‘simple’ tail pattern. I patterned up a basic 3 colour design using the maquette method (where you pattern small then enlarge to correct scale) & still ended up with 16 pieces. This means the whole tail will have 32 pieces total, not including pieces for the gore…

  • Those 5 fingered paws look so insanely good! I have always had trouble getting my 5 finger paws to look right, so might I ask if you would consider selling the pattern you used to make them? They look like they fit so nicely, too. Amazing job!

Thank you! I am very proud of this pattern as it’s gone through a lot of iterations and minor tweaks to get to this point. Currently, the pattern is not for sale, although I do plan to release patterns in the future. I currently have a few sewing instructionals for sale on my KoFi (https://ko-fi.com/ezekiellsplayground)…

  • I’m really digging how nice my new pattern is turning out. Next step is handsewing the paw pads and sorting out the lining.

  • I didn’t like the pattern I use for slim feetpaws and wanted to update it but it was way down my to do list. Thankfully a lovely commissioner gave me reign to do it as precursor to their commission. The silliest part of this process is taping your own foot then having a random foot…

  • Whenever you create, modify, or adapt a pattern it’s always a good idea to create a mock-up first. I’m adapting the principals of the FurSmoothie pattern to create a more bear-like foot paw with 5 toes.

  • It is becoming increasingly apparent that this is not a tail I ever wish to remake. First pic is the pieces for the first 2 segments, took about 2 hours to extract. Finally, 3 days and multiple cuttings sessions later, I present the rolls of pattern. 😵‍💫

  • Whenever you create, adapt, or modify a pattern it’s always a good idea to make a paper mock-up first. I’m adapting the principals of the FurSmoothie pattern to have 5 toes and a moor bear-like foot shape.
