  • I have developed a love/hate relationship with this thing. The intricacy is the most irritating but it’s also what is gonna make it look great at distance.

  • Non-zero progress, but golly this is fiddly.

  • I have encountered the issue where I can’t discern between the dark browns. My partner can, but as soon as I lay down a new dark next to a dark colour I have no idea which area needs a second coat. 😖

  • This is the last paint-by-numbers I got on sale many years ago, when I first decided to try the kits out. It’s also probably the most complicated. I’m hoping I really like it when finished as I remember I got it because the design seemed so nice at distance.

  • I’ve slowly been working on this piece the last few weeks and thought it would be nice to share progress pics of the painting.

  • Personal paint of a #WindstoneEditions pyo to resemble my companion parrot. Painted using atelier acrylics & folkart metallics, with antiquing & wash shadowing in 7 different colours, drybrushed highlights/blending, and sealed with an archival satin varnish.
