Completed crashing wave paint-by-numbers. This ended up needing endless touchups because of 2 varnish crazing incidents (I don’t know why).

I have developed a love/hate relationship with this thing. The intricacy is the most irritating but it’s also what is gonna make it look great at distance.

Non-zero progress, but golly this is fiddly.

I have encountered the issue where I can’t discern between the dark browns. My partner can, but as soon as I lay down a new dark next to a dark colour I have no idea which area needs a second coat. 😖

This is the last paint-by-numbers I got on sale many years ago, when I first decided to try the kits out. It’s also probably the most complicated. I’m hoping I really like it when finished as I remember I got it because the design seemed so nice at distance.

Progress on one of my paint by numbers kits I bought recently. Wanted to enjoy part of the school holidays and start of 2020 doing something completely mindless, that I can do in an anal-retentive mindful kind of way.
