  • Completed swimming elephant diamond painting.

  • Only a little bit left to go! I’m really pleased that the bead colours were a lot brighter than the print looked.

  • I have encountered the issue where I can’t discern between the dark browns. My partner can, but as soon as I lay down a new dark next to a dark colour I have no idea which area needs a second coat. 😖

  • This is the last paint-by-numbers I got on sale many years ago, when I first decided to try the kits out. It’s also probably the most complicated. I’m hoping I really like it when finished as I remember I got it because the design seemed so nice at distance.

  • Painted up a windstones kitty gryph for my SIL to look like her own kitty. Eyes were handpainted as they weren’t the ones that came with the sculpt.

  • Finished the puppy diamond paint. This image has definitely been darkened too much compared to what it’s supposed to look like. I had to do some adjustments on the right eye because the canvas wanted it to be a giant black void extending down the cheek (it was a little terrifying).

  • Omg there IS colour variance! I was beginning to worry I was relegated to black…

  • I am doing a diamond painting as a present for my mum, and I honestly have never had to deal with such a large section of largely unbroken colour before. Keeping all the gems straight has been extremely tedious.

  • Slowly making progress. I’ve already picked a spot in the house this will be hung.

  • Completed another diamond paint. It’s supposed to have two little figures looking at the sky, but they get pixelated out at a smaller size. Frankly, I think it looks better just as a swirl of colours.
