Ears! I tried to use the ball joints from a phone stand to get poseability but they poked up behind the sculpts raised bits too much, so back to plain galvanised wire. I’m so happy how the paint work came out on them too.

Significant progress on the parasaur head. This is the most confusing pattern I’ve ever done, mainly due to the complex colour transitions.
-
A lot of modifications later and I’m pretty happy with the form now. The eyes are just placeholders until I settle on a colourway design – until then, this is being set aside.

Jackalope update! Major hardware is now all installed. Chin has been extended to compensate for glasses pushing the mask out from the face. Gums, lips, and antler bases are apoxie sculpted. Eyes drilled out. Antlers are removable for storage. Jawset by DrakonicKnight. Base by StuffedPanda. Antlers by DVC. Flexible hinges, forehead rest, head harness by…

Sydney made mask wearing mandatory in some public places last week. So this is what I have been doing since that time; making masks for our household, my family, and some friends. In total I have made 36 masks. I’m done now!
