Ok, I’m now ready to tackle plying all my wheel bobbins!! All of these are going to be chain plyed to hopefully get a nice light DK weight yarn.

TDF progress update! I have finished the fractal yarn, all the bobbins have now been plied, the brown icelandic single is finished, & the cotton is progressing. I also prepped 200g grams of ‘berry burst’ roving into rolags because I impulsively decided I needed a lofty woolen spin for the planned chunky yarn.

WIP of the mammoth cowl. I’ve been getting irrationally annoyed that some of the random single stitches in the forest section have been coming out ‘large’ & ‘wonky’. Completed pet portrait. This commissioners companion rock pidgeon was lovingly handpainted on a windstone pyo rock dragon. They’ve already had this piece for a while. I just like showing the wip lead up to the finals.

I finished up the red dorset, managed to get a decent yield with the only waste being big matts/nepps. I’m planning to spin this on my new Allen Berry spindle to ‘break it in’.

Put the finishing touches on the commission pyo. Using model foliage on a sculpt was new for me, but I’m so pleased with how selective foliage placement has made this 💯 more awesome!
