This was really frustrating to do as the side strips and sashiko fabric stretched causing some puckers in the top stitching and rolling at the ends initially. Decided to put the backing on this wall hanging I finished a number of years ago. An easy way of adding a hanger is to insert some corner triangles in-between the hanging face and the padding/backing! When the hanging gets turned right side out these make small pockets that holds the hanging dowel in place.

School term is making me stressed and tired. So I decided to take a break from the major ‘thinking’ fursuit project to do some stitching. So here’s a sashiko harvest ribbon design. I’m thinking of making it into a mini wall hanging at a later date.
