  • Jackalope feetpaws made using #FurSmoothie’s pattern. They have shoes inside, and some extra squish under the soles as the shoes are just basic canvas slip-ons. I am quite impressed with this pattern, totally changed my mind about gluing as opposed to carving foam. Might smooth out the hock hump but otherwise ready to fur.

  • After seeing how well check padding worked on Miwak, I decided to add some to the Jackalope, and wow! So much better now! Also installed the eyes and eyelids, and attempted to fix the rubbing on the upper tooth (but it hates me).

Three 2 hour exposures to indirect sunlight and they are now noticeably stiffer and able to support the base mask, as well as mask+antlers, when resting…

Eyes drilled out. Antlers are removable for storage. Jawset by DrakonicKnight. Base by StuffedPanda. Antlers by DVC. Flexible hinges, forehead rest, head harness by…

  • SOUND ON. I convinced my partner to help do antler install on his mask. We couldn’t decide whether the squeaking sounded like our birds chuckle laugh or a distressed dolphin 🤣
