  • Neither me or my partner wanted to work in the garage, so we drilled the pilot holes for the nails (orange thing is a placement jig) and glued some shelves together in the house. Some of the boards were warped slightly, so fitting everything as snuggly as possible was interesting.

  • I did an actual one day build! We needed something to put all my plushies in to get them off surfaces so I made up this toy hanger. Still have to pressure fit some beads on the end of the dowels before it gets hung.

  • I spent a morning making the most awesome whale oven mitt. It even looks like the whales on the fabric!

  • Process pics of creating some practice colourwork mug rugs. I’m teaching myself stranded colourwork knitting because I want to make up a lovely cowl pattern I found. I don’t really enjoy knitting but finished colourwork is worth it.

  • Some bags I made for friends & colleagues.

  • Finished purse bags. Two of these are mine and the rest are gifts. Some have contrasting internal pockets and some have additional bead decoration hanging from the top.

  • I have really been having fun playing around with resin embedding. The coasters and some of the bookmarks/tags were christmas gifts for family, and all the flowers are Australia natives I sustainably handpicked and pressed.

  • Finished up the book pockets and drink cozies. Māui came over to check them out and give them parrot approval.

  • Made up some crochet doorstops for some autumn spoopy season vibes (in Aussie spring) 🍂 🎃 Aren’t they just adorable!

  • Did up my partners’ owl cushion over a weekend afternoon. For some reason I thought it was a clever idea to sew the opposite sides first…um, no.
