  • I’ve had this wood for 3 years with the intent to make hexagon display shelves. My partner obviously was roped in to be the power for the saw 😂

  • Completed sunflower diamond painting.

  • Picked a ‘simple’ shawl pattern using chunky yarn to practice making a shawl before I try with my handspun. Only, this pattern isn’t simple at all!   • WIP of the diamond paint. Almost there now.

  • Last pair of pants I’ll need for a while, mostly complete apart from the hems. In the middle of sewing these I realised that I was accidentally sewing up the Second Doctors pants (Patrick Troughton’s Doctor in Doctor Who actually wore yellow check pants, just no one knew until we got the animated/colourised episodes).

  • WIPs of the batch of octogon bags. Some of these are mine & some will be gifts.

  • 3 days of work and everything has been pulled off the spindles & prepped for plying. The yellow is still a singles ball as that’s my Easter Show competition spin waiting for the red alpaca to finish resting.

  • Completed American songbirds cross stitch kit. This is a dimensions standard collection kit & it took approximately 130 hours to complete.

  • Started up another dimensions kit from my stash. I’m quite enjoying this one as I can finish a bird or 2 in a session which gives an immediate sense of accomplishment.

  • One of my schools office staff is leaving at the end of term for pastures new. Instead of simply pitching in money for an office gift, I decided I make a ‘school key survival kit’ for them as they liked my silicone bead lanyards/keychains.
