Finished paw and (surprise) tail set, made as a christmas gift for a friend.

Decided to whip up a new puff nub tail. Instead of creating a flat pattern, I sculpted a mini tail out of plasticine & pulled a pattern from that. I love patterning this way as it creates beautiful curves.

Some more WIP pics of the puffy paws.

Completed realistic slimline paws. Both sets were made on commission using FoxFireFantasy’s pattern and their cast claws. The white pair has custom coloured semi-translucent with visible darker quicks. These were super fun to make. Thanks to those who commissioned me, which is what allowed me to finally try out this pattern.

Paw assembly is under way. If you look closely you can see the slits for the finger escapes.

Wow, what a difference a trim makes! Left before trimming. Right after trimming.

Been busy doing up a basic liner and setting claws. I got lucky & could use one size liner for both paw sizes. Meanwhile, I’m impressed with the pattern which creates a firm ‘pressure fit’ around the claws, so I chose to glue instead of my usual drill’n’sew.

Sewings pads on 3 paws represents 2 full days of work. But these are looking awesome now! Foxfire must have ginormous fingers/ring finger as both me and my husbands fingers ended at around the knuckle joints in these paws, so I’m going to make a simple full liner from sports fabric to slip inside &…

Nyoomed these paw pads through the sewing machine. After I sew these in, I’m forced to wait for the package of accompanying claws to arrive to complete these sets.
