Labouring away on these spots. One side is completed & the other side’s green spots are clipped in. I’ll have to run some sections through the sewing machine too to reinforce overlapped seams.

Taking a slight break from the paws to work on the tail part of this commission. This 180ish cm dragger has 30 total pieces, 20 of them being the spots that will be hand sewn.

‘Spirit of the North’ cosplay mask progress & movement test. I chose to invert the screw setup on the forehead rest/head harness to allow the hardware to be swapped out if they ever break. This is going to be put aside now until I clear some things in my queue.

Made up a 1:1 replica of the belt end of Miwak’s bonetail for my bodysuit maker. I am now considering adding 2 more segments but carving it ragged to look like an injury – but that’s a 2023 project.
-
I used a modified cosplay ‘space’ style helmet instead and glued that into the head form. I then added foam clay to fill in seams and make a solid beak (it’ll be covered in worbla later) and a nose hump. Might still do some minor adjustments then sand it all smooth.

The paws are pretty much ready for final assembly. Still a lot of hand sewing to do though.

I’m making a set of goth paws for my partner, to go with his husky tail, for funsies.
-
Over the weekend I made up 2 husky curl tails (pattern by Eastern Dragon Studios). I only wanted one for my partner, but I couldn’t decide on the colourway so I made two. Still have to finish them off. The one I don’t keep I’ll put up on my Etsy/KoFi stores.

3 iterations of cardboard prototype & 2 paper patterns versions later, I have what I hope will become a successful foam mask. Foam often requires bevels for the shapes to read & hold properly, sadly beveling cardboard doesn’t really work. So I cut all the foam pieces with straight edges and worked out the bevels…

Working on Miwak’s skull hat. I have never used cardboard before to mock up a pattern and I really don’t know what I’m doing.
