  • I have done the first pass of the haircut. This took several hours as I cut from the bottom up in layers to ensure a nice layered rag style. I’ll come back later to refine the overall shape, add some shagginess into the mane, and do the final shave on the face.

  • For extra security of the knotted hair, I painted 2 thin layers of PVA glue over the back of each knot to create a flexible plastic coating. Then I had to back the wig onto some cotton (after bullying the wig back into shape) using a back stitch and lines of tack stitching to keep…

  • I am slogging away at the mane piece, which is basically a hand latched kanekalon wig. This is the left side that I finished off, with some pattern adjustments so it’ll blend into the mask fur better. Still have to make the other side and get them backed before installation. It’s massively poofy right now…
