Miwak’s bodysuit has arrived! Great job by EasternDragonStudios, the tail port is perfect! Just have to do some tweaks on the tacked in tail zip to ensure a good fit with the tail, but that’s a school holiday job. Can’t wait to finish Miwak up & take them out on the town!

We’re ready for gluing. But oh boy, that fro!

Most makers I’ve seen get a nice edge by rolling the fur under whilst they are gluing down. I’m a clutz so I decided to pre-roll all sides that would need it (eyes, nose, jaw) using a simple whip stitch. I also decided to roll the bottom edge of the hood to get a nice…

I finally got around to the final trim for Miwak’s feet and paws! I prefer to hand trim using thinning scissors, and with these paws that was the best decision! I’m so pleased with how these came out.

Piecing the fur sections of Miwak’s face and neck together.

Started sewing up Miwak’s hood. There were a few minor adjustments to the ear pattern but so far I’m please with how it’s looking.
