Completed realistic slimline paws. Both sets were made on commission using FoxFireFantasy’s pattern and their cast claws. The white pair has custom coloured semi-translucent with visible darker quicks. These were super fun to make. Thanks to those who commissioned me, which is what allowed me to finally try out this pattern.

Sewings pads on 3 paws represents 2 full days of work. But these are looking awesome now! Miwak is coming along fantastically! I’m not going to glue anything down until I’ve finished the kanekalon mane as I’m not sure whether I will have to adjust anything.

I am slogging away at the mane piece, which is basically a hand latched kanekalon wig. This is the left side that I finished off, with some pattern adjustments so it’ll blend into the mask fur better. Still have to make the other side and get them backed before installation. It’s massively poofy right now…

First pieces for Miwak’s hood. Decided this time I would only cut pieces matching the section I’m sewing, so I don’t drown in pieces. So far I’m feeling that this project is manageable.

Miwak’s tail is complete! Final weigh in is 2.3kg but it doesn’t feel like it when worn.
