Spring has sprung here in Australia! Isn’t it just glorious when the flowers start blooming and the days start getting warmer.

Throwback to when I made my wedding bouquets. I still have mine in a decorative vase brightening up my bathroom. My grandmother was given my matron-of-honours bouquet whilst my matron-of-honour got a compilation bouquet made from all the table decoration mini bouquets.

Finished up the decorations for my wedding (with some help from my partner and companion bird). I have 11 of these mini vases, made up from all the leftover feathers and flowers/foliage from when I made my bouquets.

The finished core of my bouquet. The florist tape from Spotlight was still sticky (I think it is literally just double sided tape!), so I unwrapped and rewrapped the stems and feather wires with proper florist tape. It’s so much more pleasant as it’s only waxy to the touch after wrapping!

So I’ve been tasked with making a keepsake bouquet. Obviously, live flowers won’t keep well so artificial ones it has to be! All of these are natural touch (except the purple leaves which are straight plastic) and you literally can’t tell they’re fake unless you look super closely. I’m also planning to add in feathers…
