Completed pet portrait. This commissioners companion rock pidgeon was lovingly handpainted on a windstone pyo rock dragon. They’ve already had this piece for a while. I just like showing the wip lead up to the finals.

‘Star Dreams’ windstone pyo gryphon. This piece is based on the Australian female red tailed black cockatoo. Only the females of this bird species have this beautiful yellow to red gradient & the dusting of yellow spots/stripes on their feathers. This one is staying with me. But I will always consider commission requests for windstone…

After being neglected due to work, I’m determined to finish this gryphon off. Completed the antiquing and drybrushing aspect of the shading & feather details. Eyes are sitting in there so I could get a feel of how it’s coming along.

A windstones phoenix painted with reference to a black rooster. Completed using multiple atelier acrylic and folk art colour shift paint washes.

These figures were all painted over the Christmas/New Years period and I’ve just got around to getting good photos. All were painted using atelier acrylic paints and pearl ex pigments. – scugog and sal by #homemadehorrors – faffnuff by #missmonster – foo puppy by #windstoneseditions

Painted up a few more figures during the #SydneyLockdown. First is a windstone kitsune painted to look like an amber marbled fox. Next up are two Churches by Homemade Horrors painted using swamp lemur and poison dart frog inspo respectively.

Completed these at the start of #SydneyLockdown but only just managed to get decent photos. These are Miss Monster casts, aren’t they adorbs!
