I’m really digging how nice my new pattern is turning out. Next step is handsewing the paw pads and sorting out the lining.

Testing out my new slim feetpaw pattern. These are all the pieces for a set of lemon & navy paws. I have no need for these so they will be sold upon completion.

And Miwak’s feet are complete! They have shoes installed inside and they are so comfy to jump around in.

Whenever you create, modify, or adapt a pattern it’s always a good idea to create a mock-up first. I’m adapting the principals of the FurSmoothie pattern to create a more bear-like foot paw with 5 toes.

Jackalope feetpaws made using #FurSmoothie’s pattern. They have shoes inside, and some extra squish under the soles as the shoes are just basic canvas slip-ons. I am quite impressed with this pattern, totally changed my mind about gluing as opposed to carving foam. Might smooth out the hock hump but otherwise ready to fur.

Progress on the sockpaws. The pattern said I could set claws into the darts, but that didn’t work so well as they all ended up too low on the foot and bend into the floor. Something to note for future use.
