  • After much frustration where the wool completely rended, twice!, on one of the front panels when reversing, we finally have a waistcoat ready for top stitching. The wool tended to rend along seams, particularly where raw edges frayed endlessly. So after the original front panel, then the replacement panel rended, I just went to town…

  • Almost finished the wedding waistcoat. Today’s job was doing the cinch (using two bowtie buckles so it looks neater), and pinning the front & backs together ready for stitching.

  • Cut out the pieces for my fiancés wedding waistcoat. We’ve got some cheeky goose-print satin lining and the wool outer has nice flecks of silver through it.

  • Mine and my matron of honours bouquets. Constructed of artificial silk flowers and natural lady pheasant tail & wing, and duck feathers. Wrapping is jute mesh and jute twine.

  • My friend and I got a good start on our wedding bouquets. Now they need to be taped together, feathers inserted into the design, and handles wrapped.
