  • Hemmed all the raw edges before glueing the fur down. Glueing was tricky because the back under the sail had to remain open for the hood to fit over, then that had to be henson stitched closed. Still needs a nose/eye trim.

  • Significant progress on the parasaur head. This is the most confusing pattern I’ve ever done, mainly due to the complex colour transitions.

  • I’ve decided to sell my life sized juvenile dakotaraptor plush. Some of your may remember me making this a few years ago & she has faithfully watched over my craft space ever since. But it’s time for new adventures and she is now looking for a new loving home! She’s listed up on the Dealers…

  • Parasaur mask is now ready for it’s fur. The inside has been tidied using EVA foam for cleanliness, mouth soft palette installed, two interchangeable tongues with velcro attachment, rare earth magnets in nose/chin for the blep tongue, & removeable/adjustable foam padding.

  • Completed parasaur tail for the premade. Features a hidden belt tunnel that passes through the foam core.

  • Finishing off the parasaur tail. I wasn’t too sure about the plum colour, but with everything sewn up I think it works really well with all the other tail colours.

  • Working on the parasaur tail. The little hole that’s being left in the charcoal is for the belt tube that goes through the foam core. Also, this is my simplest tail ever (only 10 fur pieces)!

  • My projects board. Pinning up all the fur swatches with their references for each project is really helpful to visualise how a project will come together colour wise.

  • Here’s the final design for the parasaur premade & this sheet will go with the partial. The final owner will be able to name them and I’ll add that to the sheet.

  • Parasaur tail core for the premade. The white is calico reinforcing & the end has a lovely wiggle to it.
