Almost finished, just have to do all the detail work. Final backstitching and details are my favourite part of an embroidery because it pulls a whole picture together.
-
I always misjudge how long detailing actually takes, my brain thinks it doesn’t take long because it’s just lines but in reality it can take days. This represents about 3 days of work.
-
Finished all the main colour & it’s ready for the long-stitch details!
-
Progress on the water. Have to go to the store again for more thread as ran out of more kit colours, which I’m super annoyed by.
-
The snowy ground is now completed. This took waaay longer than I anticipated, mainly because every time I changed colour I found a minor error in the previous colour that needed correcting.
-
I’ve been working on a dimension gold collection cross stitch. Any guesses what it’s of?
-
So I procrastinated just a little bit too hard over the week. Will finish this little sprite off over the next few days.
-
We’re on to the rind now. I’m thinking to replace 2 of the colours in the rind with something more orangey to really make the blood orange middle pop, but I’ll have to see.
-
Stitching up another orange. This is destined for my kitchen and will have a blood orange coloured counterpart eventually too.

Look at that cute little footsie!
