I’ve finally gotten around to making up my turntable cover. Got to use the quilters pad and mini iron I got earlier this year for my birthday, they’re really neat!
-
This has taken literal days to pattern and patterning isn’t completely finished yet! It’s the most complex thing I’ve made to date.
-
Aaaaaand, it’s done! Gotta wait for the sealant to dry, then I can get it all framed up.
-
This is the blood orange version of the slice cross stitch. This has already been a few days work and already looks so good!
-
Completed these at the start of #SydneyLockdown but only just managed to get decent photos. These are Miss Monster casts, aren’t they adorbs!
-
Finished the core of Miwak’s tail. It has a pool noodle running through the middle, the elastic provides stability lengthwise and around the segment connections. Belt attachment is going to be a challenge as it’s designed to sit on the butt.
-
Slowly making progress. I’ve already picked a spot in the house this will be hung.
-
Several days work later and I have this absolute unit of a tail. Need to smooth out the sculpt before patterning & sewing each individual segment, before it’s connected into a single unit.
-
Found this rainbow fabric so had to make some personal candy floss paws in celebration of getting covid vaccinated.

Started work on Miwak’s bone tail. It’s going to look fantastic but I immediately see issues with putting on the minky sleeve. It’s also highly unlikely I’ll get this, plus paws and head, done by spring, when my maker will have an opening for the body suit…
