  • After being neglected due to work, I’m determined to finish this gryphon off. Completed the antiquing and drybrushing aspect of the shading & feather details. Eyes are sitting in there so I could get a feel of how it’s coming along.

  • Glued up the kemono style headbase for my pokesona fusion. Gonna have to do a lot more base work, including building & attaching a helmet head back.

  • Finally skeined all the yarn I have finished so far. I still have to make more of the ‘Sunburnt Country’ which is destined for a ruffle scarf.

  • Finished paws for the parasaur premade! These were so fun to make up. As you can hear, they have some hard plastic in the hooves so you can generate a gentle clacking sound. The whole premade will be formally looking for a loving home soon! Stay tuned for that $ales post!

  • Almost finished the paws then the parasaur set is done! The finger nails have piece of thin laser cut acrylic glued into an internal pocket to stiffen the base of the nail. Just have to sew on the cuffs and a tidy up clip now.

  • After letting the new spins rest, I spent a few hours prepping all the yarn for plying. The red panda is going to be chain plyed after I’ve spun all the balls, but all the rest have been balled into double strand balls ready for even plying.

  • Completed cross stitch. This Dimensions Gold Collection kit is called ‘Winter Retreat’.

  • A fews hours work on the parasaur paws. I must say that being able to do large parts of these on the sewing machine due to the minky really sped up the construction.

  • One of my schools office staff is leaving at the end of term for pastures new. Instead of simply pitching in money for an office gift, I decided I make a ‘school key survival kit’ for them as they liked my silicone bead lanyards/keychains.
