  • Completed all the base modifications for Miwak. Eyes were drilled with bases re-sculpted, eye vents enlarged, jowls heat formed, nose vents drilled, jawset installed with gums sculpted, and all hardware attachments drilled in. Time to do some painting!

  • Completed ankle length king cheetah tail. Features a reinforced gore cutoff end for a standard sized belt and detail fur trimming.

  • Almost finished another pre-made. I’m really happy with this pattern, it’s officially my go to now.

  • Paw parts and a tail gore piece all ready for install on their respective pieces. Doing all this took a goodly few hours and several mis-spooled bobbins

  • Finished the rooster paint. This is a Windstones Editions figure.

  • I’ve been doing some experimenting with making eyes. I have discovered copic markers blend out well under E6000 glue, and adding Derwent Inktense pencil details over the copics creates a beautiful semi blending effect. The Inktense pencils also blend with the copic colourless blender

  • Working on another pre-made tail, just because. This one is a king cheetah.

  • Have got all the base/tone colours down and started on the feather barring on the wings. Next up is doing all the barring on the butt/leg/chest feathers.

  • Finished some pre-made paws. The fur is super dooper soft and each paw has a right/left label
