  • Finished mini quilt, in situ protecting the top of my record player. I’m not going to be winning any quilting competitions any time soon, but honestly I prefer the rough’n’ready style of quilting.

  • One glove done for K’rahmyteh. The silver swirls are conductive thread. Now to complete the other one and add the claws.

  • Finished off the blood orange version. Now to order my circular wood frames for the set of oranges.

  • I’ve discovered a simpler way to join binding. Fold the outside end in at an angle, the underneath piece you cut straight and just tuck the edge that could be seen under. When the binding is all finished, it looks just like a proper bias join edge.

  • We’re on to the rind now. I’m thinking to replace 2 of the colours in the rind with something more orangey to really make the blood orange middle pop, but I’ll have to see.

  • I’ve finally gotten around to making up my turntable cover. Got to use the quilters pad and mini iron I got earlier this year for my birthday, they’re really neat!

  • This has taken literal days to pattern and patterning isn’t completely finished yet! It’s the most complex thing I’ve made to date.

  • Aaaaaand, it’s done! Gotta wait for the sealant to dry, then I can get it all framed up.

  • This is the blood orange version of the slice cross stitch. This has already been a few days work and already looks so good!

  • Completed these at the start of #SydneyLockdown but only just managed to get decent photos. These are Miss Monster casts, aren’t they adorbs!
