  • Significant progress on the parasaur head. This is the most confusing pattern I’ve ever done, mainly due to the complex colour transitions.

  • All the fur pieces for the parasaur head. I’ve grouped everything into the four main sections which will be assembled first, then those larger sections will be fitted together.

  • Parasaur mask is now ready for it’s fur. The inside has been tidied using EVA foam for cleanliness, mouth soft palette installed, two interchangeable tongues with velcro attachment, rare earth magnets in nose/chin for the blep tongue, & removeable/adjustable foam padding.

  • Progress on the parasaur premade! Eyelids & beak were painted and antiqued using atelier acrylics, then sealed with atelier gloss varnish. I’m also deciding on an eye colour and design; so far I’m leaning towards an oval or rectangular pupil with either dark/rich browns or a purple iris. Gonna do up a few more sets…

  • Throwback! Miwaks’ bonetail weighs in at 2kg but thanks to the lumbar belt feels relatively light and has a lovely bounce.

  • Holiday throwback! When your paws are too big for the chip packet

  • Completed parasaur tail for the premade. Features a hidden belt tunnel that passes through the foam core.

  • Completed commission for a returning client. The furs were carefully matched to the handpaws I made for the client last year. The tail features my signature gorecap with hidden belt loop. Paws have a comfy foam inner sole.

  • Ok, so there is something really funky going on with the neck and shoulders. But my brain is fried because it’s the end of the year so I’m finding it hard to work out what to edit. I’m going to set this aside to figure out in the new year school holiday period, possibly also…

  • Finishing off the parasaur tail. I wasn’t too sure about the plum colour, but with everything sewn up I think it works really well with all the other tail colours.
