Last part of the collab is the bird gloves. I’ve made a set of claws from apoxie sculpt which will be painted to match the skull being made by @urboros. I’ve also modified my personal glove pattern so it’ll fit the average person (rather than abnormally tiny, stubby handed me) with some help from my…

I’m planning to do a sandwich of some black fur between the dark to light transitions on the top of the tail, just to add some extra texture, which meant I had to change the construction order to allow for those strips to easily be put in. I also like how this change to normal…

Moffman is painted! I did a very dark base coat, then dry brushed 3 slightly different metallic colour blends (charcoal, dark teal, deep violet) selectively over the entire mask. Finished off with bright copper eye ports which should make the glow eyes I have planned sing. I’m also planning to install some ball joints under…

Finally finished altering the bone tail! This was absolute HELL of an alteration as the belt kept getting in the way of machining the zipper, whilst the extra fabric from the zip tape made it extremely difficult to pass the needle through when closing. And lets not forget I had to resew the interior straps…

The sleeping bag zip miwaks bodysuit maker found for me unfortunately proved unreliable when I stress tested it with the actual tail. I spent time last year hunting down YKK continuous zip tape & fittings to custom a length, which involved carefully removing teeth from the tape. Then I removed the tail sheath, whip stitched…

I’m making up a new paw/tail set for my shop, mainly to get rid of some of the fabric stash. The set is going to be inspired by the Australian blue banded bee. Here I’ve cut all the bits needed for the plush paws.

Finished paw and (surprise) tail set, made as a christmas gift for a friend.

Completed realistic slimline paws. Both sets were made on commission using FoxFireFantasy’s pattern and their cast claws. The white pair has custom coloured semi-translucent with visible darker quicks. These were super fun to make. Thanks to those who commissioned me, which is what allowed me to finally try out this pattern.

Finished jawset for the Spirit of the North fox head project. I really like how the dappled top palette really helps to sell the illusion when viewed from the right angle. This has to be put aside now until I’m able to get some more head harnesses & forehead/chin rests shipped to me.

FURSUIT TIP! Claw cuticles are pretty easy to do. You just cut the end of your claw pattern to the length of your cuticle & cut 2 for each side. Sew all the side seams then pin inverted onto the stuffed claw where the cuticle starts & sew down. Flip the cuticle down then attach…
