Put the finishing touches on the commission pyo. Using model foliage on a sculpt was new for me, but I’m so pleased with how selective foliage placement has made this
more awesome!

I love how with some antiquing and details, windstone sculpts suddenly pop to life! I’m calling the painting done on this now. I’m planning to selectively gloss parts of the dragon to bring out the metallic colours & see if adding some model foliage to the rock will make this more awesome.

More progress on the pet portrait windstone pyo. I’m planning to highlight some scales after antiquing to really make those metallic blended sections pop.

I recently made this adorable little doll scarf for someone in my ooak doll collectors community using some of my 2023 WOW christmas advent spins. This scarf used 5 different advent blends & has a total of 14 different fibre types! How cute is it! I am open to making more doll garments like this…

Completed commission for a pair of custom foxfire legacy wolf feetpaws.

The foxfire legacy pattern achieves that beautiful digit/foot definition via SO MANY DARTS!
-
Wow, what a difference a trim makes! Left before trimming. Right after trimming.
-
Been busy doing up a basic liner and setting claws. I got lucky & could use one size liner for both paw sizes. Meanwhile, I’m impressed with the pattern which creates a firm ‘pressure fit’ around the claws, so I chose to glue instead of my usual drill’n’sew.

Started work on the first foxfire paw commission. This set is bright white with steel blue pads, the claws will be a similar steel blue once they come in.
-
I was asked to show how I attach paw pads. I don’t applique as I don’t think it creates a realistic look. Instead, the pads are completely separate pieces that are made like a pocket, stuffed, then sewn into the fingers of the completed paws.
