  • Completed pants. This is such a lovely wool check, warm yet breathable.

  • I learnt that if I have lots of spare time I can sew up a single pair of pants in 2 days! 😲 Grey pair is garbedine (to replace a pair that was damaged) & red plaid is pure wool weave. I’m gonna be toasty this winter!

  • One delicious donut shirt. My partner now has all the donuts he desires 🤣

  • Final major tasks for the pinafore was attaching the pockets, sewing everything together, and some top stitching around the collars to prevent rolling. I’ll finish it up later…

  • Constructing a summer pinafore. It’s delightfully simple, although having to ease 4 seperate collars was irritating.

  • Completed hungry caterpillar shirt (slightly crumpled after being worn). I’m very pleased with how it turned out and I feel I learnt so much about tailoring.

  • Buttons arrived so finished up the cactus shirt. Here is my partner being a cactus 🌵

  • Almost finished the wedding waistcoat. Today’s job was doing the cinch (using two bowtie buckles so it looks neater), and pinning the front & backs together ready for stitching.
