  • Due to covid, this year I am a one person gift production shop! These piles of fabric are destined to become beautiful book pockets and ice cream cozies.

  • I decided to make something silly. I’m in for a stack of hand sewing on this project!

  • Final major tasks for the pinafore was attaching the pockets, sewing everything together, and some top stitching around the collars to prevent rolling. I’ll finish it up later…

  • Constructing a summer pinafore. It’s delightfully simple, although having to ease 4 seperate collars was irritating.

  • I’m beginning to get cocky now. Decided to experiment with the shirt pattern so it has an inside yoke. Looks like it’s working so far.

  • After over a month waiting for fray check to arrive (they ‘forgot’ about my order), I was finally able to finish this off. I hate doing button holes as it you stuff it up the whole piece is basically screwed, but thankfully my machine’s button holing function behaved! Made with black wool with silver flecks,…

  • Decided to put the backing on this wall hanging I finished a number of years ago. An easy way of adding a hanger is to insert some corner triangles in-between the hanging face and the padding/backing! When the hanging gets turned right side out these make small pockets that holds the hanging dowel in place.
