Main forms have been sewn. Next steps are to appliqué the inner ear details & sew, then assemble everything.

I just realised I never shared my new family member! Meet Kettle. He’s a lammergier vulture gryphon, lovingly assembled by @wormsandbones. You may be seeing Kettle assisting me in my making sometimes. And go check out @wormsandbones, they are truely amazing!

A natural coloured bear in progress. Here’s a look at all 52 pieces, which took about 5 hours total to cut and prepare for sewing.

After a dramatic fail with the original foot pattern I needed a new approach. #Kaigonathus suggested I carve a foam foot and pull a pattern from that. I’d done this for the pikachu partial fursuit paws so I was all ‘duh!’. Anyway, here is a carved foot covered in masking tape. Took me all morning…

Finished up the raptors arms and attached to the body. This is already heavy and it doesn’t even have feet, hands or stuffing yet!

More work on the dakotaraptor plush. Got the whole snoot, body and legs out. Fluff is still everywhere!
